Winter break is coming to an end for Danielle and I so we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Seattle, Washington!
Luckily for us, our financial aid dropped just days before our trip and not only that, the weekend we booked was the only weekend cleared of rain!
As soon as we landed in Seattle, we started with all of the touristy things we could do within two days. Our weekend consisted of heading to Public Market Center, Starbucks Reserve, Space Needle, Chihuly Garden, and the Museum of Pop Culture.
The weather treated us nicely and the food here was just too good. We had breakfast at Lowell’s Restaurant where I had a bomb clam chowder bread bowl and we shopped around at the different vendors Public Market Center had to offer. We did find the gum wall and let me tell ya, I was not too fond of it lol. People are gross.
We walked so so much in Seattle. The Starbucks Reserve was pretty overwhelming to say the least, it was just so massive and I didn’t know what or how to order so I just opted for coffee at a nearby Starbucks store down the street lol.
Although our trip was short, it was nice to just get away for the long weekend before school started. Take note that almost everything in Seattle closes at 6pm no matter what day!! I definitely want to check out more of Seattle the next time I come.
